With Hexagon Optics as your partner, you gain enhanced supply chain performance and access to a comprehensive portfolio of advanced optical and tooling solutions.

Optical Molds

We supply state-of-the-art optical molds manufactured from advanced materials such as binderless tungsten carbide, CVD silicon carbide, nickel-plated stainless steel, and specialized alloys. Our molds support highly complex geometries, including aspheric, asphero-diffractive, freeform, Fresnel, and other non-traditional forms.

We also offer a full range of high-performance mold coatings, from noble metals like Platinum Iridium to advanced diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings, specifically tetrahedral amorphous carbon (ta-C).

Mold Tooling

Hexagon Optics supplies ultra-precision mold tooling, producing rings and sleeves manufactured to tolerances as tight as one micron or better.

Our mold material portfolio spans advanced ceramics and carbides, including tungsten carbide, binderless tungsten carbide, silicon nitride, and silicon carbide, as well as conventional metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and nickel alloys.

Precision Components

Leveraging the same high-precision processes used in our mold tooling, Hexagon Optics also supplies precision carbide components from difficult-to-machine materials such as tungsten carbide, silicon carbide, and tungsten heavy alloys. These components can incorporate male or female threading and achieve single micron-level tolerances.
